IS 319 brass grade 2 generally used in manufacturing of components , shafts and tools.

IS 319 Grade 2 is commonly known as UNS C36000 or CDA360. Brass IS 319 grade 2 is economical material for tapping, threading, and milling or turning primarily due to presence of 3% Lead in the material.

Brass mainly consists 60% of copper(maximum 63%) along with other elements such as lead(pb)(2.75%-3.70%),iron(.35% )and remaining percentage zinc.
